Full name Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II   Production - Production years: from 1977 up to and including 1980. - Production number: 8.424. - Percentage of the complete production: 20,6%   Chassisnumbers - The first character of the chassisnumber of every Silver Shadow II is a S and the second is a R. - The right-hand drive Silver Shadow II has on the third position always a H, the left-hand drive has a X, F, G, K or L. - Examples: SRF30001, SRH30070 and SRX35753. - The first Silver Shadow II is SRF30001, the last one is SRL41601.   What makes this model unique - Four doors - Identification plate "SILVER SHADOW II" on the boot lid - Black rubber bumpers - Thicker grille - Front air dam (not on American models) - Fog lights below the front bumper (not on American models) - Rectangular mirrors - Twin exhaust - Petrol filler door of American models on the left C-pillar - A new dashboard with a split level automatic air conditioning   Further details and special features - The Silver Shadow II could be delivered with an everflex covered roof and with a two-tone paint scheme - From late 1977 the side-marker lamps were deleted (not on American and Australian models) - From June 1978 on head lamp wipers (not on American models) Anniversary In 1979 212 Anniversary-cars were made on the occasion of the 75 years of existence of Rolls-Royce. These cars can be identified by the red badge on the radiator grille. The badge has the colour Garnet red. The Anniversary-cars for the American market had standard the colour Georgian silver. The Silver Shadow II has black rubber bumpers, an air dam and fog lights below the bumper. From late 1977 the side-marker lamps were deleted. From mid 1978 on head lamp wipers were mounted.
